Do you only do headshots for actors?
Nope! I do work mostly with actors, but headshots are not just for actors. Authors, business professionals/owners, influencers, etc. also benefit from having a professional headshot.
Do you offer hair & makeup services or can you recommend someone?
I am not currently working with an artist. Clients are expected to arrive for their shoot time H&MU ready to maximize shoot time (touch ups, changing lipstick, putting hair up or down is ok!).
Do you shoot inside or outside? Where are you located?
Shoots are done indoors in my home which is located in downtown Charleston, SC. The full address is provided after the non-refundable deposit is received.
How long will it take to receive my photos?
In most cases, your untouched images will be added to a password protected gallery 2-3 days after your shoot. Once you have picked your choices, I will retouch them and send you the high resolution images once completed, within 5-7 days.
Can you help me choose which pictures I want to be re-touched?
I understand that it can be overwhelming to go through a lot of photos and pick your favorites so I'm happy to help if you need it.
Will I get all my photos taken during the shoot?
I do not release photos without retouching. You will receive high resolution files of the retouched images that are included in your headshot package.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
Yes, there is a non-refundable deposit to hold your spot. The deposit is $50 and will go towards the remainder of your session fee which is due the day of your session.
Can I post my photos on social media?
Absolutely! I just ask that you tag me and do not alter or add a filter to the retouched images.
What is your editing style?
For acting headshots, I believe casting directors want to see the real you, not an over-edited picture perfect glowy version.
Can you help me pick out wardrobe choices?
Of course. If you would like assistance, please let me know in your booking notes.
How do I pay?
Deposits are required via Venmo or Apple Pay, but the remainder of the session fee can be paid via Venmo, Apple Pay, or with cash.
Can we reshoot if I don't like my photos?
Reshoots are only offered due to technical malfunctions.
I need to reschedule or cancel my shoot. Can I do that?
If you need to reschedule, your $50 non-refundable deposit can be moved to a new date once. Cancellations must be made within 48 hours in order to move your deposit. If notice is given under 48 hours, a new deposit is required to rebook a session.
What time should I arrive for my session?
Please arrive to your scheduled shoot on time or no more than 10 minutes early.
